- Executive Summary
The Food Access for All – Rising Stars Project was delivered by TEFFFES with funding from the Tesco Stronger Starts programme. Over 12 months, the project provided free, nutritious, culturally appropriate food support to vulnerable families facing food insecurity and financial hardship. The full grant was used exclusively to purchase cereals, milk, juice and essential staple groceries, supporting 36 unique households and over 110 adults and children across North Lanarkshire. The project successfully reduced hunger, eased financial pressure, preserved dignity, and strengthened trust within our community.
- Project Background & Objectives
Many families supported by TEFFFES are from low‑income backgrounds, New Scots, refugees, asylum‑seeking households, or those with No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF). With rising living costs, families told us they regularly went without breakfast or skipped meals to pay rent and bills.

- Provide culturally familiar items to maintain dignity and healthy eating habits
