About Us

The Economic Forum For Family Empowerment Scotland is a registered Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) since April 8, 2020. It operates with a mission focused on outcomes rather than income.

Our aims are targeted at Africans, Asians and New Scots migrants, refugees and asylum seekers through our various projects like the monthly free community meals, our cooking drop-in sessions, befriending outreach programmes for people (single parents, young, families and the elderly) who have experienced significant adversity, helping them build their confidence so that they can thrive. for litter picking, confidence building sessions, drumming sessions, etc. Moreover, we promote socialisation amongst children, teenagers, young adults, and families inclusive of the elderly in any way practicable, including home visits, home calls, and Zoom hangouts.

We are committed to delivering excellence in everything we do. Our key areas of focus include:

 

We work with families in creating awareness on safeguarding children from abuse. Modern slavery. New Scots Integration Network on child protection and children exploitation.
New Scots Refugee and asylum seekers

We advance the arts, heritage, and culture among people of different races by making a meaningful impact on the wellbeing of individuals and communities

We promote the social and emotional wellbeing of families by increasing awareness on issues such as Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and offering expert guidance and advocacy support.

We educate and support families towards building self-esteem and self-confidence.

We educate the public on the negative diplomatic implications of racial discrimination in our community.

Meet Our CEO

Mrs. Angela Ejiro Nduka is a Nigerian/British Citizen that hails from Ughelli North Local Government Area in Delta State, situated in the culturally rich South-South region of Nigeria. She is married to Engr. Christian Chinedum Nduka and has children. Her academic journey led her to the prestigious University of Uyo in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, where she pursued her studies and successfully obtained her first degree (B.A. Hons) in English Language.

With a diverse array of skills and a deep rooted passion for empowering others and serving humanity, Mrs. Nduka has established herself as a multifaceted personality in various capacities. She is a coach, a dynamic and motivated speaker, and a dedicated mentor, utilizing her expertise to guide individuals toward achieving their personal goals. She provides valuable support and guidance to those in need, fostering emotional wellbeing and personal growth.

Mrs. Angela Ejiro Nduka’s unwavering commitment to helping others, along with her multifaceted roles as a coach, counselor, motivational speaker, conference resource person, mentor, and teacher, embodies her profound passion for making a positive impact on those around her. In her pursuit of empowering individuals and nurturing talents, she stands as a beacon of inspiration within the family cycle and a catalyst for change in the community.

She is a trustworthy and responsible individual, passionate about helping others. Angela possesses a natural instinct for managing people while understanding their needs and providing the most appropriate information, advice, and support to help them move forward, including confidence building. With an excellent time keeping record, she is always willing to learn and develop new skills.She is well experienced being the CEO of various charity organisations in Scotland and Nigeria. She had also worked with Vue Cinema, Hamilton; Perfect Refurbishment Ltd and Volunteer with WAST (Women Asylum Seekers), Manchester; Management Group; Kilmarnock Railway Station Heritage Trust : NESTAC Manchester and BASNET UK BME Anti-Slavery Network.

Angela Nduka was recently granted a role as a Community Advisor with Scottish Police.
