The Economic Forum for Family Empowerment Scotland proudly commenced its “Back to School” initiative today, August 12th , 13th 2025, at its office facility. The event marks the beginning of a week-long distribution program aimed at supporting school children by providing them with essential school clothing and essential items.
A variety of essential items, including shoes, sneakers, bags, shirts, socks, waterbottles and school jumpers were presented to children in attendance, alongside their parents. This initiative is designed to alleviate the financial burden on families with low income and No recourse to Public Fund as the new session approaches, ensuring that children are well-equipped to start their academic journey with confidence and pride.
The week-long distribution aims to allow every participating family ample opportunity to receive these essential items, with a focus on primary and secondary school students. The initiative is made possible thanks to the generous support of our funder, “Cash For Kids,” whose commitment to community welfare plays a vital role in empowering families and enhancing children’s educational experiences.
“We are thrilled to kick off this initiative, which is close to our hearts and crucial for the families we serve,” said Angela Nduka. “Our goal is to ensure that every child is prepared for school, and we are grateful to “Cash For Kids” for their unwavering support in making this possible.”
Parents and children are encouraged to registered and visit the distribution center throughout the week to get their kids items. The Economic Forum for Family Empowerment Scotland believes that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, and this initiative is a step towards achieving that goal.
